Even though Chelvis turned down a chance to light the Olympic flame at the opening ceremonies in Beijing (he had a scheduled teeth cleaning that he couldn’t miss), he graciously accepted an offer to be the star of the closing ceremonies. As the “Main Flame”, he was one of 2000 human flames forming the Olympic torch in a dazzling display. But even though the flame moved as one, most eyes were fixed on Chelvis who amongst the sea of bodies had the pronounced hip wiggle and was easily picked out of the crowd.
