For the first time, the magnificent home of Chelvis has been made available to tour by the public. This 16 Acre estate which Chelvis has named Riceland, houses a full service laundromat, a 2 story rickshaw garage, as well as of course an all you can eat Chinese buffet. Riceland also houses the best pieces of Chelvis history from the King’s private collection. These features make touring Riceland the perfect family activity. Tours are available daily between 11:00AM and 4:00PM. Group tours are also available.

The gate to the Riceland Estate is made of the finest jade and bamboo. Note the glittery Riceland sign. This detail was commissioned by the Chelvis Foundation and specially made in chinatown.

Riceland attracts 5 to 10 visitors a year from all over the world. It would not be surprising to hear Swahili in the bathroom, or Portugese in the Gift Shoppe. The main entrance is shown here in this picture.

Inside Chelvis’ home you will see the splendor of the lush red carpet and the gorgeous pictures of Chelvis on the wall. The musty smell that Chelvis prefers in all his rooms will give you a chance to live like Chelvis does.

Visitors will be able to see Chelvis’ vast collection of limited edition rickshaws. Also available for viewing, for a limited time, is the rarely seen Golden Rickshaw (seen on right). This was given to Chelvis by the owner of the restaurant of the same name in appreciation for all he did for him.

In the full service laundromat, visitors are encouraged to do a load of Chelvis’ laundry. Also on display is his golden laundry machine. This was specially made by the good people at Maytag and features a recording of Chelvis’ Shake, Rattle, and Egg Roll which plays during the spin cycle.
